for your claim to be processed efficiently.

Catastrophe claims
If you need to make a claim
- Download the catastrophe Claim Form.
- Document all damages - take photographs.
- Move undamaged items away from the peril to prevent further loss or damage.
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent further loss or damage from occurring and to recover any lost or stolen property.
- Do not throw anything out until an Adjuster is in attendance - if you must discard any items, take a photograph first.
- Notify us in writing by completing the required Home Insurance claim form within 30 days of the date of the event.
- Be sure to include your policy number, type of loss and location, time and date of loss, and if there are any people involved.

- Immediately inform the police of theft or malicious damage.
- Under no circumstances admit liability or negotiate settlement with a third party.
- Document all damages - take photographs.
- Move undamaged items away from the peril to prevent further loss or damage.
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent further loss or damage from occurring and to recover any lost or stolen property.
- Do not throw anything out until an Adjuster is in attendance - if you must discard any items, take a photograph first.
